Justifications and responsibilities of the endowment company:
To achieve the Foundation’s goals and ensure its continuity and excellence, the idea of establishing an independent endowment company with limited liability emerged in accordance with the Sudanese Companies Law. The company invests the funds of supporters and partners to achieve its objectives stipulated in the articles of association and the founders’ agreement, without any personal profit returns for the founders or shareholders. The assets remain the endowment property of the company, managed by the shareholders and/or their representatives during their lifetimes or after their death. The company’s main tasks are:
1. To fully manage institutions and projects and achieve their interests and various activities.
2. To work towards sustainability, independence, and full governance of the institution and its activities, thus protecting it from investment risks, manipulation, or negligence.
3. To provide a modern platform characterized by transparency and governance for businessmen, philanthropists, and international and local partners to contribute to serving the community by donating some of their funds.
4. To employ the income of its affiliated institutions and the contributions of partners and supporters to provide high-quality medical services to the various segments of society weaknesses and expanding and developing services to include Sudan’s major cities and rural areas.
5. Selecting employees for various administrative positions in its affiliated institutions.
6. Contracting with government institutions and health insurance companies to provide medical services to the families of its employees.
7. To ensure performance, transparency, and the comfort of families, the Foundation issues special treatment cards for needy sick children, which provide access to all available medical services at a minimal fee.
8. Those who can afford it get high quality service at full price.
9. The Foundation’s entire income is directed to covering the expenses of those in need through special cards, and 20% of the annual income is allocated to cover emergency cases for those in need who do not have medical cards or are insured.
10. Those wishing to obtain the Foundation’s treatment card must fill out a special application form for this purpose via the Foundation’s application, website, or paper copy. Each case is thoroughly reviewed by the Social Services Office and placed on a list. Those who meet the requirements receive the card based on priority and availability of funding.
11.The Foundation has entered into a smart partnership with 11 sponsoring groups owned by the Zakat House to cover the expenses of a number of needy children for a certain period of time, preserving the dignity of their families and protecting their lives.
